Part of what makes Catalyst unique in its service and quality model is Angie’s passion for efficiency and numbers. While she is all things financial – she successfully runs an accounting practice nearing on 20 years – one of the biggest benefits she brings to condo boards is the ability to let them be heard. And then, actually acts on their requests. It is this desire to support condo boards on a human to human level that sees Angie creating long-standing working relationships. Through this, she helps condo boards develop systems (and peace of mind) ensuring their corporation remains financially healthy while staying on budget with building maintenance or improvements. Outside of Catalyst and her accounting business, Angie is heavily involved with the Calgary Woman Immigrants Association (CIWA). Here, she provides opportunities for women accountants from other countries to develop their Canadian accounting skills and systems knowledge.
